- Bill made it up to the last sixteen at the first season of "Star Search" (German
casting show) in the kids-category with the song "It's Raining Men"

a new era starts for them

all, how are you? Katherina : The interview starts now! Katherina : 1st question: How was your birthday? Katherina : Sure, ask your questions! Bill_Tokio_Hotel : My birthday was boring actually, have been on the road Bill_Tokio_Hotel : actually I celebrated not until we were at the hotel after THE DOME Katherina : I choose one and forward it to Bill! Bill_Tokio_Hotel : We can handle animadversion rather good. Criticism helps on our development Katherina : What do you absolutely dislike? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : I don't like slowpokes! By now, we only make school and music and are very happy with that. Katherina : Which music do you hear personally? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : That's varying very much. Best Green Day. Katherina : Does someone in the band have a girlfriend? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : No, nobody has a girlfriend at the moment. Katherina : Which one is your favourite song on the Tokio-Hotel Album? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : That's „Schrei!“, as i can work very well with the audience there. Katherina : Which type of girls do you go for? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : I like the Olsen twins, but i'm not determined on that Katherina : Do you speak japanese? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : No, i don't speak japanese. But for the recordings i had a vocal coach who helped me. Katherina : Have you read the birthday greetings for you on the fanpages? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : No, unfortunately i haven't had time yet. But many friends told me about it. Katherina : What does Tom like to do his freetime? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : The same as me: Party and meeting friends. Katherina : Have you really already taken dancing lessons? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : Three years ago, i've taken courses, that's true. But not really intense. Katherina : How did it feel to perform at THE DOME? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : It was a superb feeling to be on stage! All the fans arround us - incredible! Katherina : Did you think you would be so successful once? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : No, actually it has never really been measurable. Katherina : Do you want to make music for ever? Bill_Tokio_Hotel : Definetly as long as possible. But you cannot evaluate that yet. Katherina : Thank you very much for providing us your time and good speed for the near future! |

Magdeburg - With these offers, the cool rockers are getting pretty hot! The off-key
twins Bill (15) and Tom (15) from Germany's new super-band "Tokio Hotel" are
drowned in a flood of love-letters and pine-e-mails.
After their song "Durch den Monsun" ["Through the Monsoon"; the translator] shot
from 0 to rank 1 in the charts, six clothes baskets of fanmail arrived.
Thounsands of girls drown the teenie-twins in sex-longings and nude photos.
What kind of feeling is it to become a superstar with 15 over night?
"Just crazy. If Tom wanted to, he could have sex round the clock - each time
with another girl", loughs Bill. "And who knows, perhaps he actually wants to."
And Tom says: "I'll make an album now, where i'll stick in the best photos of
the girls. It really would be a shame to throw them all away."
Not more than three months ago, the shrill twins were still smiled at as crazy
outsiders at the schoolyard. Today, they are hyped by their fellow students.
Bill: "They are looking at us from a different perspective since we've become
famous during the summer holidays."
The admiration is also reflected in the fanmail. Most of the time, the twins
read the sentences: "I love you" and "I want to make love with you"
But there are also romantic declarations of love and proposals of marriage with
a desire for children of mature women among it. Claudia (32) writes: "Bill, i
think you're so cute. I'll wait for you, until you are 18. Then we'll marry and you'll
make me many children."

Mobbing, beating, teenie-terror: The Guys of
the hardcore group "Tokio Hotel" drop out of school, because they are mopped up
by their schoomates.
The higher you climb, the deeper you can fall. The guys of Tokio Hotel have to
experience that now by themselves. Being popular since only two months now, they
are acquited from school atendance for one year, because they are afraid of
going to school.
The insults, bashing and mobbing against Tom, Bill, Gustav and Georg by their
schoolmates got mor and more out of hand during the last weeks. Bill admits in
the "Bravo": "Sometimes, you get frightend by what kind of people exist." From
envier to detractor - the list of cruel enemies is long.
The Mini-Format-Rocker from Magdeburg really don't have an easy time at their
Kurfürst-Joachim-Friedrich-Gymnasium: Insults like "Fags", "Nutter", "Kidband"
or certain things are thrown at them all the time.
The schoolmates seem to have a good grasp of organized psychoterror - collective,
they are wearing T-Shirts with the slogan "I will kill Bill and the rest of the
Fuckband too". However, Bill even thinks the idea with the T-Shirts is at least
"creative".
Funk in school
But the other bandmembers don't see the situation as easy casual as Bill. Tom
dislikes the "silly patter" and drummer Gustav is "really yellow to be lamed by
some 13th graders."
Georg is the only one who catches on the difficult situation. For him, the
matter is clear: "There will always be people who cannot cope with the success
of others. And of course many boys hate us, because their girlfriends are crazy
about us." Natch, the girls. It's really hard to be a masher.
From now on, Tokio Hotel has a whole year time
to recover from the Guerilla-Schoomates. In terms of their future success, they
seem to be optimistic. However, they could also just await the autumn holidays
at first.
